On February 4, 2026, the Ukrainian Lobbying Association (ULA) hosted a closed, in-person meeting for members in central Kyiv. The session focused on accelerating the development of the professional community and shaping a unified industry position on lobbying regulations.
Participants discussed critical aspects of the new Lobbying Law's implementation, the rollout of the Transparency Register, and compliance requirements for the initial reporting period. The group also reviewed the Association’s achievements in 2025 and mapped out strategic initiatives for 2026.
A central theme of the discussion was the practical challenges currently facing government relations (GR) professionals. Attendees emphasized the urgent need for the professional community to present a unified front as the legislative framework continues to evolve.
Ultimately, the meeting provided a valuable platform for member networking and served to align approaches to key issues shaping the future of lobbying as a formal institution in Ukraine.
