The Ukrainian Lobbying Association (ULA) and the Government Relations Institute of Canada (GRIC) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), establishing a framework for cooperation to advance transparent and ethical lobbying practices internationally.

The agreement was signed on August 29, 2025, by ULA Chair of the Board Anna Lachykhina and GRIC President Hunter Doubt.

Under the MoU, the ULA and GRIC will focus on promoting transparent, accountable, and ethical approaches to lobbying. The partnership will also drive joint initiatives, including professional seminars, conferences, and specialized training programs.

"With the adoption of our new lobbying law, we look forward to sharing our progress and partnering with GRIC to create learning opportunities that will benefit both of our organizations and communities," said Anna Lachykhina, emphasizing the significance of the partnership.

A key focus of the collaboration will be the systematic exchange of expertise, research, and industry best practices, alongside a shared commitment to strengthening ethical standards in lobbying on a global scale.

"We are delighted to collaborate with the Ukrainian Lobbying Association to share knowledge and advance the professionalization of our industry," said Hunter Doubt, President of GRIC.
