On June 9, 2026, Anna Lachykhina, Chair of the Board of the Ukrainian Lobbying Association (ULA), recently spoke with Ukrainian Radio to discuss violations of lobbying legislation, enforcement and accountability mechanisms, as well as the role of transparency in building trust in Ukraine’s new lobbying regulatory framework.
“The first court cases involving lobbying violations provide valuable lessons learned, allowing us to learn from others' mistakes and avoid them going forward. It is crucial for every market participant to clearly understand the nature of these penalties to prevent the mistakes that trigger them. Reviewing these cases is especially timely right now, ahead of the next reporting period deadline on July 31st.” – Anna Lachykhina said
